Creativity Chat Interview with Kristin Witcher

Pretty quickly after I first met Kristin at UGA, I could tell there was something different about her. She constantly has wisdom on her tongue, she’s one of the most creatively-driven people I’ve ever met, and that smile—c’mon. Her work has inspired me for years, and I know it truly is only the beginning. Kristin lives for eternity but she is blessing the world right now with her gifts, and I can’t wait to watch her endless creativity unfold. I’ve secretly always wanted to be interviewed on a podcast, and Kristin made my dreams come true! We’re fun and a little weird together, but that’s one of the reasons I love her.

We talk about why I journal, why every experience (include the weird ones) adds value to who you are as a writer, and why as a third grader I wanted to change the ending of Peter Pan.

You can listen to our episode of Creativity Chat on Apple Podcasts or Spotify—whatever floats your boat. And then when you’re done, keep listening! Kristin draws out the inherent creativity in all of us, and it’s so fun to hear how others are using it in their own little corners of the world.

Kristin and I on a very (very) hot day in Austin, Texas.
